The AI Security Advisor is an optional tool that generates responses using artificial intelligence. By using it, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content: responses are produced automatically by an OpenAI model accessed through Lovable AI Gateway, not written or reviewed by Instware staff, and may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances.
• Indicative guidance only: responses are general information and do not constitute a security assessment, penetration test, audit, legal or compliance advice, or a recommendation on which you should rely. They do not create a client relationship with Instware.
• Verify before acting: you are responsible for evaluating any response and should seek appropriate professional advice before acting on it.
• Your input: you must not submit passwords, credentials, keys, details of specific vulnerabilities, personal data about other individuals, or any information you are not entitled to share.
• Acceptable use: you must comply with these terms and OpenAI's usage policies, and must not use the Advisor for unlawful purposes, to seek help attacking systems you are not authorised to test, to generate harmful content, or to attempt to circumvent its safeguards or usage limits.
• Availability: we may limit, suspend, change or withdraw the Advisor at any time without notice.

Our free security tools perform light-touch, non-intrusive checks: the website checks load a homepage and the standard security.txt file as an ordinary visitor would, and the email check reads public DNS records only. By using them, you agree that:

• Authorisation: you will only check websites and domains you own or are authorised to test. You must not use the tools against third parties without permission.
• Surface-level only: results reflect publicly visible configuration at the time of the check. They are not a penetration test, vulnerability assessment or audit, and a good result does not mean a system is secure.
• No reliance: results are provided as general information, without warranty, and you should verify any change before applying it to your systems.
• Fair use: you must not automate, overload or attempt to misuse the tools. We may limit, change or withdraw them at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Instware excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from or connected with your use of, or inability to use, this website or reliance on its content, including any response generated by the AI Security Advisor. Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes arising in connection with the website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
